This restaurant's pavement terrace, where you can soak up the atmosphere of the trendy Oud-West neighbourhood, and its round windows certainly draw the eye. The Zen-style interior with its distinctive 1970s feel is equally impressive. This is a casual dining establishment, which opens its doors at 10am, every day of the week. The Mediterranean dishes served here have a lot in common with the recipes of Yotam Ottolenghi. Take, for example, the braised pork cheeks with creamy orzo, crunchy oyster mushroom, Petroto cheese and a fresh yoghurt and celeriac purée – what a beautiful plate of food! The chef makes sure that there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, and he keeps his prices affordable. One of Amsterdam's gems!
