Creative cuisine with a Japanese flair? Here, in a small restaurant in l'Eixample Esquerra where everything revolves around a bar for seven diners, chef Toshi Suzuki elaborates, before the eyes of his diners, two tasting menus called Batlló (only on weekday lunchtimes) and Somodó (more extensive, for dinners and weekends). Within this Mediterranean market cuisine with Japanese influences, we were especially surprised by the combination and harmony of its pre-dessert, the apple, wasabi and lemon Frappé. Booking is done through the website and punctuality is crucial!
