Meant as a cultural dining concept, the wood and stone-cladded rooms are dotted with pierced carvings, calligraphic reliefs and inscriptions about life in a bygone era. A Chinese stacking food box is also used as a recurring motif, symbolising culinary heritage. Various ingredients are prepared in traditional Sichuanese ways to great effect, such as wok-fried chicken cartilage with chilli and pepper, and beef grilled over jujube wood.
