The sense of wonder begins even before you reach the restaurant: inside the Byblos Art Hotel, the sumptuous 16th-century villa that houses it is adorned with stunning works of contemporary art. A blend of styles that continues in Donato De Leonardis’s kitchen. His dishes are often original and feature combinations that are at times daring; a multitude of ingredients come together to create visually sophisticated creations. There are three tasting menus, one of which is vegetarian, although the dishes can also be ordered à la carte. Don’t miss the dessert section – it’s absolutely brilliant.
