Located in the pedestrianised historic centre of Ljubljana, Altrokè occupies an ancient building of authentic charm, with exposed stone walls and brick vaulted ceilings, alongside a small terrace looking onto a narrow cobbled street. The kitchen, inspired by Istria and the Mediterranean, distinguishes itself through the use of produce from the family estate at Plavje, near Koper: grapes, olives, figs and aromatic herbs, together with house-made oil and vinegars, elevate well-executed and flavourful dishes of land and sea tradition, accompanied by a carefully curated wine selection.
