Trás-os-Montes-born chef Vítor Adão’s roots are strongly anchored in tradition and the provenance of his ingredients. Having worked in several leading restaurants, he decided to open his own eatery where he showcases the heritage of his native region. His cooking is based around two surprise tasting menus (6 and 9 courses) that vary according to what is available from producers. Despite its simple decoration, enhanced by numerous jars of pickles to highlight the connection with the land, the overall feel here is elegant. The pleasant terrace is perfect for outdoor dining in warmer weather.
