Bewertung des Guide Michelin
Located on one of the streets that wind through the old town, this spot is certainly generating a lot of buzz—both for its signature cuisine and for the concept behind the dining experience, which invites guests to explore different rooms. Head chef Diego René champions a menu featuring delicate presentations that blend his French culinary roots with the spirit of the south of Spain. There are two tasting menus on offer, called René and Nature (plus a shorter version for lunch called Midi), always allowing the flavours of the sea to shine through. Original dishes like the monkfish Wellington with Café de Paris and demi-glace, or, in the dessert section, the visually striking ‘Picasso’ ice cream stand out, with almonds, coffee, and lemon (replicating the image of the renowned artist from Málaga and a poetic and surrealist phrase he left us in writing: ‘A bit of syrup bristling its mane of feathers in the middle of the fried egg of the scent of its lily song.’).
