Within the eponymous hotel, the restaurant occupies an elegant contemporary dining room looking out over the sea: the gaze drifts across the tranquil and magnificent Kvarner Gulf, framed by a small private olive grove from which an excellent extra-virgin oil is produced. It is well worth booking in advance to secure one of the four front-row tables, from which the panorama may be enjoyed to the full. The kitchen offers a blind tasting menu available in versions of four or seven courses. The menu celebrates above all local ingredients through contemporary and at times decidedly creative recipes, such as the octopus salad stained a deep red by beetroot and finished with crunchy hazelnuts.
