El Estrecho marks the point at which the Magdalena River is at its narrowest: a beautiful bottleneck that is barely 2.2m wide, where the bubbling waters rush headlong toward the distant Caribbean Sea. Photogenic and exceedingly quiet, it is a lovely spot for a picnic.
