Hermit Road is a splendid scenic route in the Grand Canyon, which follows the western part of Rim Trail, hugging the cliff edge. This magnificent outing, on foot or by shuttle, takes you to famous viewpoints: Trailview Overlook looks down over the trail where you can make out mules and hikers below; and the impressive Mohave Point, a promontory suspended in the void, looks as if it is literally floating over the canyon.
