The Reserva Florestal Natural do Morro Alto e Pico da Se protects part of the central plateau and a series of beautiful caldera lakes (Funda, Seca, Comprida, Branca) at the foot of Morro Alto (914 m), the highest point on the island. From the car park indicated on the left, a path winds through the sparse, fragrant vegetation, taking you from lake to lake, allowing you to get close to them and taste their waters... A captivating hour's walk!
