A paradise for fans of rafting and other white water sports, this national park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) has three rivers: the Gordon River, Olga River and Franklin River. Its highest point, the Frenchmans Cap (1 443m), so named because of its resemblance to a French Phrygian cap, can be reached on foot in 4 to 5 days. The park is equally famous for its Aboriginal archaeological site: Kutikina Cave.
