This mountain (3 342m), the highest in the Dolomites, is renowned for its glacier and its fast ski slope. From Malga Ciapela, a cable-car takes you up to a belvedere perched at 3 265m offering some of the best views of the Dolomites. From here, the view encompasses the peaks above Cortina (Tofana, Cristallo), the Sasso Lungo, the huge mass of the Sella range, and, in the background, the peaks of the Austrian Alps, including the Grossglockner.
