One of the oldest in Medellín, this gorgeous little square has been at the heart of urban life for generations. Street vendors come here selling tinto (black coffee) and small snacks shaded by two majestic, hundred year-old Ceiba or Kapok trees, under the watchful eye of General Francisco de Paula Santander and Marceliano Vélez, immortalised in bronze.
