A few vestiges of the outer wall, accessible from the En-Haut gateway, can be seen by taking the attractive Terreaux promenade, which follows the trace of the moat. The interior fortification wall is almost complete and serves as part of the foundations for several houses in Rue des Rondes. The Round Tower used to be a prison.
