The beach becomes progressively more peaceful the farther southeast you venture. After the first mile, where the sand literally disappears beneath loungers, parasols and food-stands, you reach a section of beach that is practically deserted, despite its crystal-clear water. The beach ends at a wooded rocky outcrop, home to a few restaurants and hotels.
