This is a restaurant that provides you with an excuse to return at any time of year… and why not! The house speciality, the savoury Carolino rice (with rice grown in the Mondego valley), changes constantly with the seasons, and is cooked in a clay oven, which brings added flavour. We recommend starting with the mouthwatering and smooth Rissol da Tia Fernanda, which is absolutely delicious. Next, it has to be rice, of course (with any accompaniment – duck, fish or oxtail – all are excellent choices) and, to finish, the moist “pão de ló” cake with sea salt, which is truly heavenly. The restaurant is located in the Centro de Artes e Espectáculos and has a meticulous yet unpretentious decor, featuring floor to ceiling windows and fantastic views!
