Thai cuisine meets natural wine at this new location of Soi Mao. The word mao is Thai for inebriated, a nod to the restaurant's focus on natural wine. The first floor offers a simplified menu, while the second floor offers a more extensive list of dishes, intended to be enjoyed with wine. Bestsellers include the sweet and spicy grilled pork shoulder, crispy Thai spring rolls and tom yum noodles. The supremely aromatic and pungent nature of Thai cuisine and the flavor carnival of natural wines prove to be surprisingly complementary.
